Dan Collins

Chief Executive Officer & Owner / Real Estate Broker

Dan Collins has been a part of the capital region business community since graduation from Siena College with an accounting degree (BBA).  In addition to his interest in Select Sotheby’s International Realty Dan is also a partner in a Whisperer Empirical Management, a hedge fund focusing on capital structure arbitrage. Dan has been involved with numerous charities and professional organizations to give back to the community in which he lives and works. He served on the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Leadership Saratoga Alumni Association Board, New York Construction Materials Board of Directors.  Dan was also named “40 under 40” by the Capital District Business Review in 2011.

While working in his family’s construction business for many years, Dan has had the opportunity to work in multiple facets of a business from property development to financial management.  With the numerous different ventures he has been involved with, Dan brings a variety of knowledge and resources to Select Sotheby’s as a licensed real-estate professional and owner.

Lou Izzo

President & Owner / Real Estate Broker

Lou Izzo is the Co-Owner, Broker and President of Select Sotheby’s International Realty. As a New York native, Lou has been in the real estate business since 1989 and, as a result, has experience at every level of the industry. His career accomplishments are both prolific and notable, most recently holding the position as President of a Top 40 U.S. real estate brokerage for many years where he led the firm to record growth. Lou also founded Real Estate Leadership, one of America’s leading residential real estate consulting firms, specializing in enhancing the professionalism of the real estate industry. He is one of the foremost brokers, presenters and executives in real estate today, and is profoundly knowledgeable in luxury and resort property marketing and sales.


Lou has served on advisory councils for one of the largest franchise systems in real estate, and has also chaired the Principal Advisory committee for CARTUS Mobility Services, the world’s leader in relocation services. Lou served as Chairman of the Board for the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care for several years, and is involved in several community organizations across New York State.


As President of Select Sotheby’s International Realty, Lou is acutely focused on expanding the brand’s presence throughout Upstate New York, as well as mentoring its existing roster of agents on increasing their business. His specialization in both high-end real estate and professional consulting are a strong asset to the company’s leading management team, supporting and strengthening the firm’s agents and expanding the services offered to clients.

Andrea Demoracski

Vice President / Real Estate Broker

Andrea grew up in West Springfield, Massachusetts and spent her summers on Cape Cod. She pursued her Bachelor's degree in Economics and International Business and spent a semester studying abroad in Australia where she learned about international relations.

After college, she moved to Upstate New York to take a job working in the insurance industry where she familiarized herself with all aspects insurance law and became particularly interested in the art of negotiating and settling transactions efficiently. When an opportunity to join Select Sotheby’s International Realty presented itself, Andrea decided to focus her professional interest in the field of real estate and pursue a long time goal of obtaining her real estate broker license. Having always been intrigued by all things real estate, Andrea enjoys seeing homes, and buildings, wondering what stories their walls hold. She specializes in understanding the vast difference between local, national and global real estate markets. Her desire to continuously learn helps her to thrive in the fast paced, ever changing real estate industry and enables her to properly a manage the brokerage and its staff.

Aside from working, Andrea loves to spend time with her best bud, Beau – a handsome Bichon Frise. She enjoys socializing in Saratoga with family and friends and takes advantage of all of the great activities the city has to offer. She constantly strives to learn new things to enhance her career and hopes to one day go back to school to further her education.
